It is chocked full of old pictures and stories about many families near Owensburg, Scotland and Mineral. Some names are Gilmore, Allen, Ashcraft, Alexander, McKissick ,Baker, Flynn, Hirth, King, Meredith, Hayes, Haywood, Mullis, Horn, Ferguson, Wade, Padgett, Dove, Ault and many others, including a picture of Civil War soldiers at Walnut Grove. Claude Lynch remembers everyone who lived in this area southeast of Bloomfield to Owensburg.
